Critic #1: Alexander

Emulation feedback: He really liked the flowing lines for the infographic. He preferred the version 2 better. He suggested me to extend the model wider a little bit more would be better because of the spacing problem. He recommended me to make sure all the lines look like bamboos. He suggested me to make the text smaller for the side's pandas. And also put the sources.

I changed some of the lines to make it look more like a bamboo and extended the model a little big to make it looks less narrow. I delete the side's panda and changed the title to looks more like a storyline.

Critic #2: Arden

Emulation feedback: She liked the version 2 better because of the bamboo details. Consider to add something or change for the empty spaces for the second part. The dotted lines matched to my visual language model. She suggested me to put "current" of pandas for the location and delete the now days pandas. She recommended the text to be bigger for the location and make the space a bit bigger.

I moved around with all the elements to make it look less empty, and I make the text a bit bigger for the location.

Critic #3: Yiran Ni

Emulation feedback: She preferred the version 2 better because of the bamboo really relate to my topic. She suggested me to change the now days panda and think about another time for the pandas to make it more relate to the layout model.

I deleted the now days of panda and changed the title of each section to look more like a storyline.

She thinks my color model and typography model are nicely emulated. She likes my new revised version more, but she would have all of the bamboos in the line to be the same size in order to keep up with the unity aspect of my infographic. She recommended me to try dashed lines as black instead of like bamboo. She noticed my visual language model has a lot of dashed lines. She thought it is a bit weird having bamboo lines in the first section on top with the panda image. It just seems like a lot of bamboo in a small area. Overall she thought the visual language model is nicely emulated and placed in a nice layout that matches your layout model too.

I changed the white dashed lines to black and more like a bamboo at the top. I delete one of the bamboos at the top to not feel like too much bamboos.

He thinks I emulate my visual language model very well using the sometimes filled-in and sometimes realistic objects. He suggests using dashed-outlined circles when tagging and labelling areas like my visual language model does. He also suggests using a gradient in the background since that is what my visual language model does. He thinks I emulate my color and typography models well. When it comes to the layout he thinks it is beautifully emulated, he likes the idea of using bamboos as a line. He does think that I could number the different sections using leaves like my layout model does using droplets. Overall, it looks like a great emulation! Although, there could have been more revision.

I didn't change to use a gradient in the background is because I think it looks a bit weird since I have so much element in my infographic. I didn't add numbers on the line is because there is no timeline between each section.

Critic #3:Stephanie

She liked my second version better because she thinks the bamboo looks really cute and matches to the water lines of my visual language model. She suggested me to think about the order of the sections to be more like a storyline, and adjust the first section to be more spaced out.

I changed the order a little and some titles to make it looks more like a storyline. I also adjusted sections to make them more spaced out.

I am trying to tell the viewer about the life story of giant panda including the evolution of the panda, the mating and breeding, their life habit, and the locations of the pandas are in now days. I try to pay more attention to point out the reasons of why are there so few of pandas in the world. The layout has bamboo lines and it really echoes to my topic of infographic.

How this layout emulates the layout models: I used the flow bamboo lines for my layout model to show my infographic. And I also have the title at the top of my infographic to emulate my model.
